Restoring Center Caps

Anyone know how to restore the center caps? I would buy new ones but everywhere I look theyre around $40 each.

yea, painting them would probably be your best option. i have chrome wheels and the center caps got coroded. i sanded them down, primered them and used a duplicolor chrome spray paint on them. they actually turned out really good. not as chrome as the rest of the wheel, but the color is exact and nobody can even tell i painted them. if i were you, i would get some aluminum or chrome color paint and spray em up, if the color doesnt match, black would not look terrible...

Does anyone know where I can get them new, for cheap? Gmpartsdirect wants around $40 each.
