Repair riped leather

how should i repair a rip in the leather seats, some cracks on the side of the seats have appeared from heating up to much.

how can i pach it up? is there some sort of kit or leather glue i can get? and where can i get it?

I think your best bet would be to go to an upholstery shop in your area and have them take a look at it. They must have some solution to your problem, who knows what they charge though...just a suggestion.

they do make crack filler for leather and vinal but I have only heard it use in door panels and dashboards. I will try and ask around. gl

i found this thing called liquid leather that im going to try, its at the as seen on tv store near by,
apparently it works so good that they cant keep it in stock, so im goina try it and see if it works

'riped' leather??? ummmm if it was much "riper" then it would still be bull hide right??/

first, its easy enough to apply
it looks good when its finished, the only problem, is that its not to flexible. and in my case, i repaired a rip on the side of the seats where its somewhat loose/flexible.
so everything was good until someone sat in the seat, then it cracked right open again and the with the cracks it kinda shanged a little white, kinda like plastic does when you bend it too much.


however it did work well on my dash, i think i just need to touch it up a little
so if your going to use it for something hard like your dash or the top part of the seat, (stretched leather) then go for it, it should would well

ill try agian just to see if i can improve it
