Re: Removing the sticky foam behind badges...

I used to work at a sign shop and they had some stuff called Rapid Remover that I used but I think you can use Goof Off or some other kind adhesive remover. Be sure not to scrape or rub too hard as it will f'up the paint.

3M eraser wheels work great or 3M Wax and Adhesive Remover.

I just used a heat gun...a gentle steady lift and the whole works came off...no residue.

Re: Removing the sticky foam behind badges...

i just did mine last night. i dont have the best way but i found a way that worked good for me. i used some fishing line and got the emblem off and it still left behind some of the black foam tape n glue.. i also bought this little kit ig uess from autozone its goo gone but called sticker remover or someshit and it came with this lil scraper. i used that to get all the back tape off then i was left with the actual glue shit. so i used turtle wax bug tar and sap remover on the rest of it and it was all good.

That was a good one toad. I used the wheel on mine when I took the decorative stuff off. Worked great! I followed up with alcohol then I polished the area so it would match the rest (theres pristine paint under the badges which stands out once your remove them).

Re: Removing the sticky foam behind badges...

i've used my shoe sole before...just took my shoe off and went to town..worked pretty good, just don't press to hard and make sure they're free of pebbles and dirt. Rubber wheel is the best to use though.
