Re: Removing stock ugly decals.

I did mine the long and hard way... I first peeled off the actual plastics, then to get the glue residue off, I just used goo gone, and my thumbs to "roll" it off.. Thats the best way I can describe it... One tip I have though is work when its cold... I know it sucks, but when I did mine, I worked partly during the day, (70 or so degrees) until my thumbs were too sore, only got about .5 of one side done, i went out later that night (around 50 degrees) and did the rest of that side, and the whole other side in what seemed like alot less time... but work cold, and try goo-gone, that stuff is amazing...

Re: Removing stock ugly decals.

oh, and if you use goo gone, be prepared to wash it GOOD, it will take some good cleaning, it leaves an "oily" residue on it afterwards... but a little car wash and elbow grease will fix that!

try this

https://0200890.netsolstores.com/ind...ROD&ProdID=200

yeah it's $35, but it works well. If you spent 8 hours to get 1/4 of it off, you might think it's worth it.

About as cheap and good as it gets. I've been using that method for years and it's never failed me. An old pair of pantyhose with the WD40 will help get the goo off.

Re: Removing stock ugly decals.

I used a pencil eraser to heat up the glue on some stickers that were on my new laptop. made them come off really easy and made the leftover glue come off really easily too. They make those big hand held erasers you guys could use. I bought my truck with that stuff already gone so I can't guaruntee this method.

well you can find a website. But I just copied someones on here and changed the colors in paint. I didn't feel like doing all 3 angles so I did one then made an animated .gif in gimp to make it look like its moving.
