Removing Paint from bumper

A lady I work with (yeah, seriously, not me) scraped her bumper into a plastic guard post and now has red paid in an inch wide x 10 inch long strip on her bumper. What is the best thing to buff this out with?

Re: Removing Paint from bumper

You might also use some WD40, and that might take it off as well, but make sure you have something to clean it off with.
We use to also use BG Stuff to remove things of this nature from used vehicles....

Back into whatever she did so the back bumper looks the same. Then brag to people its a "rare stock package."

if you have access to a body shop you can use a mild paint thinner or "reducer"

no......not necessary at all,and in the hands of someone that has to ask this question this is a very bad answer!!!

3m rubbing compound and a terry clothe towel will remove the paint and not damage the finish
