Remove wax from weatherstripping

Peanut butter lifts dried wax off of weatherstripping and plastics. I tried this last night and it cleaned up pretty well. Just thought I'd throw that out their, I'd never heard of anyone doing that before until my friend told me about it.

Re: Remove wax from weatherstripping

Can't you also just remove it by putting more wax on it, and then rubbing it off/buffing it out? I use warm, soapy water, and a tooth brush to remove stuff like that.

This kit works wonders as well....

Re: Remove wax from weatherstripping

It is better to tape off the plastics and trim in the first place. Saves time from going back and cleaning it...
