Re: Rain-x?
try the kind you put in your wiper fluid resevoir. It works awesome! We drove 6 hours to Little Sahara, and never turned on our wipers.

Re: Rain-x?
the rain just beads off around 30 mph and around 45 mph you dont even need wipers, its great!, only thing is you need to keep applying it every so often, if you dont keep up with it you get this haze on your windshield, I notice it when im driving at night around street lights or at stop lights. but other then that its great!

Re: Rain-x?
Yup, works great. Works alot better than wipers IMO cause you dont get the smearing affect that wipers leave sometimes. Keeps the window real clear looking. Use one or the other though, if you use your wipers with rain x on your window, from my experience the rain x will wear off pretty fast.

Re: Rain-x?
yea man i live by that shit. i can drive in a rain storm and not even touch the wipers. ok maybe not a rain storm but alot of rain.
and 4.3 xtream at wal-mart its like 5 bucks a bottel or u can get the wipes for like 97 cents and one wipe will do the front window of a burban so it should easly do a dime window. |

Re: Rain-x?
I use it, but mainly in the winter with the snow. Stuff works amazing like the others said...sometimes you don't need wipers, that's when people look at you funny like your wipers are broken
![]() Just dont cake it on too much or it will streak when you use the wipers. |

I use the rain-x car wash with the wax in it. It is great. I still have to use wipers on occasion, but not as much. I might try the actually rain-x stuff.

Re: Rain-x?
don't have wipers on mine. i used paste wax and the water would blow right off while driving. but prolly not a good idea to do if you still have wipers. i think it would smear really bad when you would turn them on. lol
