Protect your headlight

Hey guys ...im doing to be putting eventually a specific headlight in my truck ...but the thing is ...I need to protect it with some sort of protective tape or something ...anyone know of a good one?

What are you trying to protect it from? And do you mean you are trying to protect it once it's on the vehicle or while you have it sitting around waiting for installation?

thats freaky ...i just finished reading that...you think that goes for headlights to??... it doesnt say that it will adhere to glass..

Can Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film be used on headlights or windshields?
A. No, it does not meet the Department of Transportation's standards for optical clarity.

This tells me that it might make the light output be dispersed.

i bought some xpel ...its a good stuff...I was able to buy it in a bulk inch by inch of what I think I migh tneed...ill let ya know how it works...hopefully it can make contour curves...good atleast
