I have a set of zq8s and i was wonderin what the best method of cleaning them up nice is, i know they have some sort of clear or protectant on them from the factory so i wasnt sure if it would be the same as normal aluminum polishing, any help appreciated due to the fact its prolly a dumb question..

Re: polishing zq8 wheels

You have to sand the clear off to polish them. It takes a long time from what I hear.

Re: polishing zq8 wheels

Rumour has it that they take upwards to 15 hours per wheel.

I'm getting ready to do this myself, as soon as the weather gets warmer.

Re: polishing zq8 wheels

I know this thread is old, an im no wheel polishing expert but heres what i did with my zq8's since this is my daily driver an im to lazy to sand them down

i took some windex an went over all the wheels to clean the brake dust/dirt off them, went over them with the klasse, then the nu finish.
