Polishing problems.....
I have the american racing NITRO wheels. They sat on my dads cutlass untouched for too long. I have tried alot of things, Mothers Mag and alu. polish, turtle wax, never dull wading, Elbow grease, die grinder with polishing pad, and nothing is really working. They are oxidized and have piting. I can get them to shine, but there are those lingering pits. I need to know what to use. With all of the tight places in theses wheels and the complex curves, i dont think it would be feasable to sand them all down and start the polish process from scratch. what do you guys think is the best thing to do??? Thanks

Re: Polishing problems.....
you basically have 2 choices, have all 4 of them professionally polished or wetsand and polish them yourself

Re: Polishing problems.....
1- those rims do not polish out to a mirror finish. They are that dull shallow shine.
2-the Never Dull should not have been used. |

Re: Polishing problems.....
Aren't they chrome? I thought most American Racing wheels were chrome.
