polishing dem 20's

Hey, I have 20 inch chrome all around. I live on a gravel driveway as of right now. I am having to polish them every other day and the day i dont polish rinse them off. Is there some kinda cleaner/ buffing stuff that is easier to use. I have some chrome/ glass cleaner that i have been using, but it leaves waterspots and dried powder. Today i tried some kind of black magic chrome and metal polish called liquid metal. It does well going on, but you have to buff like a mother to get it to shine? What do you use to polish your wheels? Is the spray on spray off stuff ne good?
what's the best?

It sounds like you have rims with a polished finish, not chrome.

no they are chrome, it is that they get real dirty and if you dont wash/polish them they will start to rust, chip, and the finish will suck. That is what i was told about chrome (you have to take a lot of care of) or I am wrong?

A good quality chrome rim would not chip, rust, or get a dull finish from a lack of cleaning & polishing.

What kinda rims are they?

Well your right to a point. I had a set of Crager SS rims on my last truck and the center part with the spokes is alloy while the outside rim portion is steel. The chrome on the center part looked great all the time while the chrome on the outside over the steel went to hell after 3 years.
So basically a good chrome wheel made entirely of some sort of alloy while a cheap chrome wheel has steel and will rust! I'd almost garantee that....

I got Zoopseal on my Eagle Alloy wheels but I also regularily wax them with carnuba wax (use the stuff in a can because it is more concentrated) to help as they do take a beating if they are driven daily.

Re: polishing dem 20's

I have 20"ers on my ride too. I love them, but when it comes to cleanin them ever few days I wish I had 10s (or 15s really) s
I love how they always look clean and people say damn them things are Blingin, even when their filthy... Then, I clean them up and they just go DAAAAMNNN, specially if its a sunny day....

To clean them, I usually use some type of spray on foaming window/glass/mirror/chrome cleaner and spray the rim lightly then wipe them with those Blue heavy duty shop towls or one of those cool microfiber towls.. I love those.. I have three, one for paint, one for glass and one for chrome.... After I clean my rims, I wipe the tires and put some of that shiney crap on with the curved wheel applicater... I only put that stuff on at shows or where It will sit for a few hours...

Again, I love the look of my 20"s, but I hate cleanin them....
