polishing billet steering wheel

well i got a billet steering wheel and i have tried all kinds of polish like mothers billet polish, zephr pro 40, and jewelers rouge mfx but all them seem to leave like really like alot of scratches in the wheel . I was wondering does anybody got any suggestion on any another type of polish? I also use a terry cloth to polish it.
