pits in aluminum.

i got center lines auto drag wheels that is kinda old and they have pits in them. how do i take them off? can i sand them? what grit should i use? i all so bought the mothers power ball to polish them.

pits? as in kinda holes? i dont think you can sand off sumthign that isnt there anymore?

i once got pitting off a moped i bought .alot of the aluminum was pitting on it so i took a brillo pad the kind with the soap in it and used some chrome polish and got the brillo pad wet and scrub the aluminum and it came of pretty easily dont kno if that would work for u though didnt try it on wheels
