Never Dull

I have used just about every kind of chrome polish there is out there, Mothers works great and leaves a really "bling bling" shine, but I was browsing through advance auto parts today and came upon this shit called NEVER DULL, it comes in a little round tin cup type thing and you can use it to clean any metal surface including kitchen utensils..Its a cotton like material that turns to wax when it comes into contact with metal, you just wipe it on and let it set for a minute and then wipe off with a dry towel..I had some REALLY REALLY BAD corosion on my passenger side front rim from brake dust and other stuff and mothers and eagle1 had yet to even phase it when I tried them but when I sat down with the NEVER DULL it took me about 10 minutes to get the rim looking like it did when I bought them..this stuff leaves just as good of a shine on the rims as mothers...Has anyone else ever tried this stuff?

Re: Never Dull

Yeah, I use it a lot. Some of the best stuff I've found thus far. It works really well! I just use it on my stockers, but hopefully it'll work on chrome/billet just the same. I love it!

Re: Never Dull

Sounds good, you can also use steel wool to get rid of some of the corrosion.

i used that stuff to clean my wire wheels. i got a cheap set of wires completely rusted and i used never dull, and wow, is all i gotta say, a lil bit of rubbing it on and wiping it off, i had some nice ass chrome, i didnt know my rims would shine like they do, check em out. imagine them covered in rust. still ike 2% rust, on them but good enough for me

Re: Never Dull

I used NeverDull on my billet embellem on the front of my truck and when I wiped off the excess, there was water marks (at least looked like that) on it. I did it again and still they stayed. Has anyone had this before? Do I need to sand it down or something? Any help would be great.

Re: Never Dull

I use the Never Dull on my 17 inch chromies and they have never left water spots...Are you sure they weren't there before you used the never dull??? It always leaves a mirror like shine every time I use it so I dunno what to tell ya man..Maybe you could try a different cleaner and see if it brings them off..

I used the stuff in Boot Camp (USMC and damn proud of it) when I was there (only about 10 months ago) and it works wonders on just about anything shiny. It worked particularly well on our dress shoes and the bill of our covers (the big "Maytag repairman" hats). I never tried it on my truck though. I guess I will have to give it a shot. I've got a wheel that is badly discolored due to brake dust.

It's not good for some polished billet items. Some Mothers Billet Polish should remove those spots.

Stick with mothers and a powerball. Never Dull is and can be abrassive if yopu polish chrome or billet too hard. You'll see little swirles. Its really good on brass for some reason. Marines and Navy swear by it.

Whoever told you that is an idiot.

It will stain some alumimun.

I would not recommenend it for aluminum. It would work for some aluminum with certain finishes and it should be tested out on the thing before applied.
