Need Help Getting Antifreeze Out Of Carpet!!
So on Wednesday my heater core decides to crap out. I was cleaning my interior and I lifted up my floormat and i fint a huge oily spot and I look around to see where it is comming from and there it is. Antifreeze was comming right out of my floor vent. So how am I going to get the antifreeze out of my carpet. I don't really want to rent a carpet cleaner if I don't have to. Thanks

Pat dry, don't rub it in. Then go by some Oxy-Kic by Bissel. I just used some and it is the best carpet cleaner I've ever used. It has to separate canisters that mix when you press the button on the top. Stuff is great.

get some warm water in a bucket and a soft scrub brush then spray some resolve carpet spray onto the bad spot get your brush and a little hot water and start scrubbing.....when you're done, open all your doors and let it air dry

Re: Need Help Getting Antifreeze Out Of Carpet!!
I detail cars for a living, and when we get a car with really dirty carpets, we un bolt the seat and take out the carpet, then just pressure wash them and let it dry really good before we put it back in. Works great.
