Re: Mr. Clean self dry??

i like the fact that if its only a quick wash and its not real dirty i dont need a bucket cause it self dispenses the soap

Re: Mr. Clean self dry??

ya...but the mitt/sponge gets real dirty. i just spray it off in between sections. Thats the only real con and also that refill soap and dispensers are kinda pricey.

Re: Mr. Clean self dry??

you dont have to use thier soap though. its all about the filters. I used turtle wax soap and it worked just the same.

Re: Mr. Clean self dry??

Even if it does work, it wouldn't be worth it for me..

Cause, the only spots I get now are from water thats dripped from my mirrors, and water that stayed under the ledge of my tonneau.. Nothing a quick detail can't fix..

Re: Mr. Clean self dry??

My girlfriend just bought me the Mr. Clean CAr wash things and she only paid $15. I like it alot except for that you do have to wait a little bit for it to totally dry. I have a navy blue s10 and It didn't leave water spots on it, except for between the ventshades and the window, but that was probably because I was in a hurry when I was using it and had to leave just before the whole truck dryed off.

Re: Mr. Clean self dry??

we found one laying on the side of the road in like perfect condition. works great cept for those last minute mirror drips, etc... i usually do a spray wax or somin afterwards to get all the spots. i am actually going to try putting an inline filter on my sillcock to see if it takes out some of the crap...maybe it'll help like mr. clean.

make sure you change filters

Re: Mr. Clean self dry??

Tell us how well teh filteron the silcock treats ya.. Me personally, i dry it, and then wait for it to finish drying while im drying the wheels, and applying tire shine

And then I just go over and QUICKLY detail it in like 2 minutes and get all the water spots off.. What few there are.

Re: Mr. Clean self dry??

I actually like it,, I use it on our hearse and limo which are black when it's sunny out and dries quickly,,, still have to chamois the doors, trunk and under the hood,, but the soap you get with it works wicked.

I washed my truck with mothers. When I wash a vehicle, the tires, rims, under fenders, under rockers, inside door jams, they all get washed.

I then washed with the MR. Clean soap, the bucket of water that I had left over was really scummy! That soap takes off more grime than anything I've ever used!

I wash a hearse, limo, 300c and a chevy van almost everyday. I've used every soap out there, EVERY ONE! the only one that I've liked other than the Mr. Clean, is the Wash n Wax from Clean Flo.

Re: Mr. Clean self dry??

I like it but I tend to dry it after I do the last pass.
The best way to aviod the water spots from the mirrors is to put a towel in there and slam the door a few times, its worked for me.

Re: Mr. Clean self dry??

I've been using it awhile now and I love it. Sometimes the windows show spots but I use window cleaner on them later anyway so I don't care.
