A regular sponge will work on the wheels, but they work awesomely on textured interior pieces.. My wife turned me on to those things and they are incredible...

Getting anything off... I had a Focus before I wrecked it, belonged to a smoker before I bought it, the sponge got all the black gunk off the interior from the smoke.

Anyways, those things are the shit.

Re: mr clean magic eraser wheel and tire

I have chrome wheels and the magic erasers made the one spoke i tried it on dull.Soap and water works the best. After they dry wipe them down with windex. It gets rid of all the water spots and makes them shine.I have'nt tried it on the interior.

Use a bucket of water with just a dash of dish washing or car washing soap, just a little. Dip the sponge, squeeze it out... rub over a small area, wipe with dry towel, and repeat as needed.

They are the same Magic Eraser as the normal ones, just in a different package. If they didn't say anything automotive on them... normal people wouldn't buy them if they saw them at an auto parts store.
