Meguiars Gift Boxes

Mr grandfather gave me a Meguiars gift box this mornin, it consist of--1 16 oz bottle of Rich Leather Aloe Cleaner (Step 1 of 2), 1 16 oz bottle of Rich Leather Aloe Conditioner (Step 2 of 2), 1 16 oz bottle of Gold Class Liquid Car Wax, 1 16 oz bottle of Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo and Conditioner, 1 bottle of Gold Class Protectant Wipes (25 wipes in a bottle 7" by 9"), 1 10oz bottle of Gold Class Endurance Tire Protectant Gel, 1 applicator pad and 1 wash sponge.

He bought a small surplus of this and he also has a small amount of gift boxes like the one of Meguiars but its by Zymol with a few different products. Would anyone be willing to pay $40-$50 and shipping for these. If you would I might be able to talk him into selling a few.

Re: Meguiars Gift Boxes

Is the gold class really that good? I went out and bought some tonight for my pre-winter wax. Anyone have results after using it?

The gold class is a great top coat adds gloss and depth, very easy to work with even by hand.

Re: Meguiars Gift Boxes

Cool, I'm hoping to get it done one of these days when I won't freeze my ass off.

On the bottle it says to wax the entire vehicle and then go back after and wipe it off. I heard the NXT wax is the same.. does anyone actually do this?

Re: Meguiars Gift Boxes

Yes, the NXT wax is the same way. The reason you can do this with these waxes is because its not a caranuba base wax. They are synthetic polymer waxes which won't dry and be impossible to remove like a caranuba style wax would be if you left it on while continuing to finish the truck.

The only problem with synthetic polymer type waxes they just don't last as long as a true caranuba wax. So you will be re-appying more...For winter I'd use something with caranuba in it so it lasts the whole winter. I found that with NXT i was re-applying every 3 or 4 washes.
