ATTN:with all this "praise" about my favorite wax (topcoat) this product is not for the "normal guy" that wax's there ride once or twice a year...... you would need a precleaner (and maybe other work) before this wax for its full effects.
i recommended this to cpolaris502 because he has new "fresh" paint.... i knew (assumed) the condition of his paint.

by the way, love the blaze, have since you posted those "preview pics" when u first sprayed it.....

notadime...What steps and products would you recommend? Is it just claybar, the polish you posted, then collinite 476?

Yeah your going to want to clay bar, polish, wax. I have no experience with Autoglym polish (used there tar stuff though). Uusually use Menzerna, and/or Meguiars. Your most likely going to want to get a machine to polish the paint. A PC/UDM will work great for a beginner.

I got the pic the other morning after it rained. I keep forgetting to upload it. I will hafto remind everyone that I put that wax on 6 months or so ago and its been through a few snowstorms and many washes.

Notadime. Where can I buy the polish and wax you have been talking about all in one place? I don't like buying from ebay. And would rather just buy it all at once. It looks very impressive. I used meguires NXT2 right now and I like it. But this stuff looks badass. And will really shine up my black car. I will be repainting the whole car in a month or so. So I will want a really nice wax to protect my new black paint.

Pretty close, it was washed with Optimum soap probably once a month if that which helps some, but still.

Its one of the longest waxes I've tried and I have way to much money invested in waxes.

OK, ok, I am completly joking. I just washed my truck today for the first time since posting this thread and it held up awesome! I didn't use the meguiars soap this time, I bought some Rain-X car wash soap instead which seemed to work much better. So I can't tell you if the soap worked better by keeping it smooth after washing or if it was mostly the Collinite, but I do know that it really shines right now.

Actually, the only thing is that my tailgate did not last. I don't know what it is but my tail gate is always rough after a few miles. I very rarely drag so I doubt that is the cause.

Damn, I'mma try some Collinite now! What's the polish and wax called for Collinite? Fill me in Georges Blazah. Also I own a buffer. Use the buffer to apply the polish and wax? I've always usd mequires 3 step and it works wonders and shines.

polish and wax are two different things

use collinite 476s (wax)

for a polish (cleaner wax) use "super resin polish" made by autoglym.
