marks on my paint job
there are all sorts of marks on my paint that washing doesnt take off. they arent noticeable except from up close and they have a greyish look to them, is there anyway to get these marks off. they look like their on top of the paint

This thread is worthless without pics but try a clay kit after washing the car. The Meg's is pretty good for under $10. Split the clay in half, mash a half down flat and spray the clay and the car and keep it wet. Put it in the palm of your hand and use your fingers to feel the paint as you go. If you drop it, throw it away. Don't apply much pressure, just try and rub the contaminants away. If that doesn't do it, the next step is polish. By hand, ScratchX is a good mild hand polish and try that a small area at a time using plenty of pressure and work it in. If that doesn't do it, the next step involves a buffer. Polish doesn't contain wax so the next step if all is well is to wax. Let us know how far you get with clay and polish.
