Re: Macquires X Scratch
honestly....i have a black truck and i used 3m swirl remover for my truck and it did awesome, but a week later i found some eagle one wet polish and wax in my garage, and i tried it and i was amazed, it actually filled in a scratch on my tailgate. the bottle of this stuff said it removes scratches and it sure as hell did. my dad has tried scratch x but he said he didnt have any luck.

Re: Macquires X Scratch
we just painted my dads firebird and it had alot of orange peel, so we had to buff it out. he bought a deep cut compound and a finishing glaze and it left it a little cloudy and had a ton of little scratches in it. Scratch x took out the cloudyness and most of the small swirls and left the paint beautiful. But if your looking for something to take out a shopping cart scratch or something, i'de look elseware. Scratch X is only supposed to remove swirl marks and oxidization. but it made the firebird shiny

Re: Macquires X Scratch
I use megs scratchx once in a while and it works great. I found I get the best results with a foam pad vs. a cotton or MF applicator and it takes a good firm rubbing but it works.

Re: Macquires X Scratch
i used it on my black truck, testing it in the bed first, large-small scratches were unaffected.
tried it on my current black truck as well, no such luck at all. i think car wax works better. i also used a mf and cotton cloths |

Re: Macquires X Scratch
Zaino and ScratchX are totally different, the Z5 will fill and hide scratches, actually more swirls than scratches where the scratchX is designed to remove the scratch.
