Looking for a Super-Duper ArmorAll
I've been using armorall lately for cleaning the door panels
and dash and things, but It just won't hold the "wet look" shine. Anybody know of anything that lasts a while? -M |

Re: Looking for a Super-Duper ArmorAll
You can get longer lasting products, but be carefull..., they most likely contain chemicals harmfull to your interior (remember the damages caused by solvent based dressings several years ago?), well..., many are still around and even the majority of car lots use them (even new car lots!!!) Why? They are cheaper to make... There are only a few dressings I would use on my interior..., well, 3 to be exact (that is after extensive testing). 303 will be the easiest to find and is a proven product... |

Re: Looking for a Super-Duper ArmorAll
Well if you want the "wet look" I would stay away from any products that refer to a "natural shine". I agree that 303 is one of the best protectants out there but if it's a high gloss shine your going for then my favourite product is Poorboys Trim Restore (it even has UV protection). It's really hard to find a product that give you a bright shine but isn't greasy as hell, surprisingly Trim Restore manages this feat!

I use meguiars natural shine on my interior and it looks like its soaking wet....I love the wet, slippery look...two coats of natural shine will do it for ya.

Like Dallas or Wayne said 303 is a good bet. My personal vote goes to Adam's VRT, I use it on every vehicle from inside dash to outside plastic. Its more of a medium gloss, UV protectant, dries to the touch and does not streek

Re: Looking for a Super-Duper ArmorAll
Looks like everyone has a favorite based on "looks"
![]() The most important thing to remember when choosing a dressing is to make sure it is not solvent or silicone based (most that are solvent base are blue and will eventually cause damage) Just to note, there are "good silicones" and "bad silicones"..., kinda like cholesterol. Below is a link for more information. (as much as I recommend 303 I should sell it, LOL!!) http://www.303products.com/tech/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=37 9 |

303 is good. But my favorite right now is Meg's Hyper-Dressing. It come's concentrated and you dillute it to the concentration you like with water.

Re: Looking for a Super-Duper ArmorAll
i like this stuff called professionals choice or something like that. its clear in a clear bottle. I got it at advanced auto. It smells like watermellon
like everything else though, you cant put it on a hot dash or it wont stay shiney and will streak bad... |

Re: Looking for a Super-Duper ArmorAll
That wet look is a grease look if you ask me, yuk. I use Spitfire RTU. Leaves a new look, with no grease or bad reflection in the windshield. Armor All is terrible for your dash, dries that shit out and cracks

Re: Looking for a Super-Duper ArmorAll
I don't understand why people want their dashboards to shine so much, doesn't seem safe but if you want the ultimate in high gloss, Meguiars Hyperdressing as Mike says will make anything shine. Just spray it on and let it dry, don't touch it while it's drying. I only use it on my engine compartments as it makes all the plastic and rubber shine more than chrome, looks cool. I know I don't want that level of shine anywhere in my interior, too blinding. You'll have to hunt for it as it's only for detailers, not sold in stores. You can order a gallon at www.meguiars.com
