When I bought my 00 Dime, the previous owner had driven on a roadbed of wet limestone, like what is put down before a road is blacktopped or paved. The rocker panels have that limestone splashed on them and the stuff is just like concrete. I have tried numerous abrasives, polishes, cleaners, gas, tar remover, etc. and it doesn't budge. Got any GOOD ideas on how to get this stuff off? Thanx,

Have you tried vinegar? It might work considering how basic limestone is...

Re: Limestone specs on paint
I have not tried the vinegar, but will. Will wetsand paper scratch or dull the paint? What about a claybar? I am not familiar with that but see it mentioned often for removing stuff off paint. I tried my fingernail...only broke my nail.
