Leather help
I recently bought some seats from a forum member. They are grey leather, with power, lumbar, and heat....they kick ass. However, they have some stains in the leather. The seats are from a blazer, and have apparently been sitting for a long time. My guess is that something sat on them in a junk yard and it worked its way into the leather. But anyway, i have tried EVERYTHING...all types of leather cleaners/conditioners, 409, simple green, tuff stuff, lacquer thinner (haha), wd40....you name it, and I have basically tried it. I found a recipe online that combines cream of tartar and lemon juice, and it seems to have lightened the stains substantially...but they are still present. Does anyone have an idea about what else i could try without dying them?

Re: Leather help
you might have a place in your area that redies leather one panel at a time
i know you said you dont want to redye them but i know a guy here that sands the individual panel of leather, mixes his own dye...and redyes it btw if youre srcubbing be careful not to scrub to hard or you will bleach the leather and will have to get it dyed anyways |
