What is the best way to keep primer clean because i plan on shaving soon and dont want to get it painted cause im going to paint the whole truck at the end (what else would a minitrucker do) but i was wondering how you keep it clean and not oxidized looking
Thanks

Re: Just Wondering

no definatly dont wax it, main thing is, you have to remember, your primer is saposed to be a base for your paint, so just like when putting primer on andything between the primer and paint will ruin it, you dont prime or paint over wax so dont wax over primer, unless you are gonna leave it that way, but if you do, you will have to sand/wetsand all residue off and use wax/grease remover before painting and a nother coat of primer, primer wont really get oxidized i dont think, but the longest ive had somthing in primer was 2-3 months and that wasnt being driven, either way, be sure you got a good couple coats of primer on before you start using the truck normal again, and once cured good wet sand it, if it gets so it looks bad, just re prep it (wax/grease remover, wet sand, fully dry by air in dust free environment,) and add a coat or two of primer, cure, wet sand, and paint, best advise i know to give, hope it helps,
