Jelly blade
I baught this the other day, its ment to be used just like a squigie, opnly its not made out fo rubber, its made out of a very soft, and flexible jelly type substance. Its gets rid of the water from the truck and it dosent streake or scratch the paint. As fasr a i know, i used it on a section of my roof and it didnt do anything to it. I catches the water and takes it off quickly. Som all you have to do it wipe the blade, theres no wringing out water, and tryin to keep it clean.
Has anyone ever used it. Its made by the same company who make the california car duster, and dash duster. |

Re: Jelly blade
I use the California Water Blade (which is basically the same thing) to take the majority of the water off then go over what is left w/ a good chamois

Re: Jelly blade
same here. i hate having to use 4 large micro towels to dry mine. i use the blade for large areas, hood, roof, doors, bed...then other smaller areas i use microfiber. fyi...only use blade on completely wet surface. and watch the plastic handle

Re: Jelly blade
i can dry a car faster with a chamois than i can with the blade.
i dont like the blade cause you can easily drag something that may fall or blow onto the paint before you get to dry it and that can scratch the hell out of it if it were to happen. |

Re: Jelly blade
They're made out of silicone, like the kind people use to seal up glass and such. Harmless to paint unless there's something caught under the blade, which is why you should be VERY generous with your rinse water.

Re: Jelly blade
they work good, but you can leave a rubber scuff on the paint, but then all you gotta do is just rub at it with your thumb and its gone. I have one that i keep in the blazer just to wipe the windows down in the winter and when there is some dew on them in the morning. You can always go cheap and just use an old winter wiper blade.
