Re: Interior panels

a toothbrush, cleaning solution and compressed air work great for all the tiny spots

Re: Interior panels

I just got done with my interior clean up; i surf a lot and take buddies so u can imagine all the spilt soda + sand in the all the nooks and cracks.

To tell you the truth, you really gotta take out the entire floor liner plus all the panels if you want the job done thoroughly. Go by a torx screwdriver or ratchet bit size 50 or 45 if you dont already have one. you may need this to take out the seatbelts and the bolts the seats have. plus a reg ratchet set if you don't got one already. I went and got some interior/dashboard paint and did a couple of coats on all the panels when i got them out and pressure washed them. i also pressure washed my floor liner and took off the old insulation on the bottom of the liner, cuz it was incredibly gross and soaked in old mildewy soda lol

I went to home depot the next morning and got some Reflectix insulation:

And that worked out very nicely. i gorilla glued it to the bottom of the floor liner in 3 pieces. I also bought a few cans of that rubberized undercoat sound dampening spray and covered the bare metal floor of my truck after the floor liner and panels were all out. After letting it dry very well and air out for a day or so, i put back in my floor liner and all the paneling and plastic and stuff. Even though it was kinda a big job it was well worth it and my truck's interior honestly looks brand new, no goss sand and debris in the cracks anymore and a quieter ride!
