Short story needs lengthening.....so, while he was changing your brakes the rotor broke and he somehow managed to get rust on your paint?

I don't think I would let him near my truck again. How do you forget to put a pad on?

Re: ****in Old Roomate, please help
That rust is just on top of the existing paint, and should come off with fairly little effort. The longer it stays, however, the more moisture it will attract which will do permanent damage to your paint. Oh, and keep that "friend" away from your truck. I'm thinking restraining order..........

Re: ****in Old Roomate, please help
yeeaaahh Umm I agree with restraining. order. Also once again why I do almost all my own work or at least supervise it being done... I would try a bug and tar remover. if that don't work buff it

Re: ****in Old Roomate, please help
You can take it off with clay. I think Erazer makes the best clay, but any of them should work for this

Re: ****in Old Roomate, please help
Almost any auto parts store should carry a clay bar or kit. Mothers is the best OTS clay you can get IMO. If the clay doesn't get every last little bit out, try a good cleaner wax
