I was wiping down the dash....
with a new Black Magic tac rag. I got to the part of the dash just under the A/C controls.(I had my truck running cus i was gettin ready to take off.) I take one swipe under the controls and my CD player quits for a sec, almost like skipping. I was like WTF? and i wiped the rest of my dash off. Just for shits and giggles i went back to under the A/C controls and it did it again.
Anyone know whats up with that? just curious. And i couldnt decide if this thread should be in Interior Styling, S&S, or Cleaning.... |

not to my touch or anything.... i put that static guard on it and shook the rag out a few times and it still did it, i'm scared to do it anymore, with the truck on.

My buddies Toyota does the same thing. The guys @ the stereo shop said that sometimes the static elect. will interfear (sp) w/ the laser on the cd player. Almost like an amp going into protection mode. I wasn't sure about it @ first but it's the only logical answer I've heard. Who knows?!!
