How to remove marks in paint?

I removed my roof rack on my Blazer and now you can see the marks where it was mounted and I was wondering what I can use to remove them. I tried a little Meguirs Scratch-X because thats all I had and it looks better but I was hoping for something better. Wet sanding? lol

Re: How to remove marks in paint?

Depending on how deep the marks are, wet sanding is probably your best bet. I'd hit it with some 1000 grit if they're deep, 2000 if they aren't to bad, then rubbing compound and wax.

Same meathod has worked wonders on the rough spots in my new truck!

Sounds good I'll give it a try this weekend. Thanks.
