how to keep chrome looking good?

I just got my rims on my truck finally woot now i am sitting back looking at them and they are already dirty what do you guys do to keep them shiney and protected, i have done some homework and found that a chrome polish and then a wax is good to use. Is this true becuase i didnt spend all this money to have them go to hell. Also what brands do you use and can say work great if it hels i have B-52s on my truck. Thank you

Re: how to keep chrome looking good?

chrome is nice cause its alot less work to keep nice. the best advice i'd say is just clean 'em regularly in a non abrasive fashion. like those wipes, i don't trust them, they might work, but im skeptic on alot of things. after that the polish should work well, with the wax being put on to add a layer of protection. (i think i read on the wax forum that someone had decent results with waxing his wheels after polishing them, to prevent brake dust and just general dirtiness.)
