How much wax?

I have the tech wax, great stuff. How much should be used and how much should it spread over?

Re: How much wax?

Like mentioned, thin coats. If you cake it on it will be a pain in the ass to get off and you will just be wasting it.

Re: How much wax?

That Meguires Cleaner Wax works pretty good. It smells good too, makes me hungry everytime I use it.

Hell yea it is, its what sold me on the car! I can fit 4 people in it very comfortably, even 6ft+ guys in the back seat. rides super smooth. Just threw a sterio in it and drive...It averages about 24mpg city and 30mpg hwy too! Its actually one of my favorite cars that Ive owned. It was owned by the service manager of the local Buick GMC dealer, bought new and serviced at the dealer since day one

Re: How much wax?

I dont care what anyone says, those Buicks and even the older ones ride very nice, good on gas, roomy and very reliable. I have driven about 4 of them with over 250,000 miles, some almost at 300,000 and they still drove nice as hell. Only problem they ever had were the motor mounts are a common problem to go out on them quick. Transmissions seem to do fine as long as you service them and the catalytic converters seemed to shit out on them quickly. So hell, only two problems with them and they are simple ones.

Re: How much wax?

LOL, of course not. Your supposed to wax, then seal, then swirl remove, polish, and then compound last. He knows that. haha

Re: How much wax?

Tex Star Detail, do you go on any detailing forums? I am guessing you have your own detailing business correct?
