Help! Problem cleaning my rear window.

Well, i just bought my '99 s-10.. and I am very happy with it. I also want to keep it as clean as possible.

The previous owner had this gay little sticker on the rear window.. one of those stickers that is partly and outline.. so it wasnt a completely solid sticker.. if you know what I mean. Anyways.. i managed to rub all of this red sticker thingy off.. and i was left with nasty residue where the sticker was. I tried water.. windex.. and this Goo-off crap I found under my sink. To my dismay.. this stuff wasn't coming off at all. Then.. (stupid me) my mom says.. "hey.. why dont you try scraping it off?" Bad move.. i tried a razorblade to scrape it off and I left a couple big scratches in my mirror.

It would be awesome if anyone could help me out with this.. I need some suggestions on firstly.. how to get the rest of the sticker off.. and then how to remove the scratches from the glass.

thanks

To remove the rest of the sticker try wd-40 on a rag. That will remove the rest of the glue. To remove the scratches....... you can "try" a glass polish. But glass is very hard and not very easy to buff scratches out.

Man, GOOF-off will melt plastic, it will even take the enamel off of your teeth i'm sure or go through bone. It takes off sticker shit. The scrathes have to stay, you etched it with the blade.

Re: Help! Problem cleaning my rear window.

nail polish remover works really good to, but don't use paper towel, use a rag or somthing.
