Headlight Housings?
Is there anyway to clean like the inside of a headlight housing? I ask because my stock headlights aren't as clear as I'd like. They seem as if there's evaporated water inside, but it may just be on the outside.. When I have water on them they seem clearer so I am not 100% sure, but is there any way of doing this?

man, nice! I am doing this to mine this weekend. I hope I can get around the bumpy fog light areas, it looks a little different from your lights. Oh well, I am guessing should be the same procedure.

Re: Headlight Housings?
Way to do this in less than 30 minutes is wetsand with 1000-1500 grit wetsand paper. Use compound and buff it with a wool pad. Throw some wax on afterwords and your done. Either that or wetsand all the oxidation off and put a coat of automotive clear on it and never worry about it again. Those kits are fine too but cheaper to just buff and wax.

Re: Headlight Housings?
i already posted that in this thread, but it does not take 30 minutes or less, it took me hours to do mine but mine were pretty bad. if you had a slight fading then maybe. |

Re: Headlight Housings?
Not sure what your problem was but I have done them where the yellow was CAKED on it (oxidation). Wetsanded with 1000 then 1500 and buffed with heavy cut 3M compound, swirl remover/polish and waxed. 30 minutes and your done. I do probably 3 sets of headlights a week.
