Having a hard time cleaning my chrome wheels

ok well right now i have just been using soap and water on my wheels, but after i dry them off and everything i cant ever get all the water spots too go away. i cant figure out how to get them to go away. iv tried using some wax on them but i still cant get it completely mirror like. i want to try some of the meguires hot rims or maybe some chrome polish or something.

got any ideas???

HANDS DOWN!!!!! the most amazing chrome polish is eagle one nano polish...i put it on wipe it off and my rims stay clean for along time, it resists rain and everything my truck sat in the rain two nights in a row and they are still blingin!

P.S dont eat it, it smells really really good hahaha

Try some Mothers Chrome Polish or Never Dull after you've washed and dried them.

Re: Having a hard time cleaning my chrome wheels

after i wash the blaze, i half way dry off the wheels then get out the blower and blow each wheel to get the water out of the lug holes n stuff. then after that wipe em off one more time with the shammos, then get out a smooth polishing cloth. if there is still water spots i get out the wax and wax em off.

im gonna try that nano-polish though.

Re: Having a hard time cleaning my chrome wheels

For the chrome steel stockers on my ranger, I polished em up once after that I just use window cleaner, without ammonia. If you get the cleaner that says it's safe for tinted windows it will not be harsh on your chrome.

Re: Having a hard time cleaning my chrome wheels

i cant recall the last time i polished these, just wipe em down real good after a wash, and these rims are probably 15 years old and were on a work truck for about 12 years

Re: Having a hard time cleaning my chrome wheels

Blue Magic polish is great, so is the Eagle One stuff mentioned above. Once you clean and polish them up great order some wheel sealer from Poor Boys. www.poorboysworld.com Put this on there and it will last a month or more (all depends) and all you have to do when the wheels get dirty is hit them with a hose and it runs right off.
