Have Anyone Taken the Skin Off?
How much effort does it take to remove the skin off of the seats?
I want to throw them into a washing machine. My car is a Katrina car, so who knows what kind of sesspool the seats have been in. |

hmm sounds like a lot of work, it'll be harder to get them back on then take them off...

Re: Have Anyone Taken the Skin Off?
How much time do you reckon it would take? I'm going to pull the passenger seat out this weekend, and have a look. If it's not too much hassle, I'm going to pull the skin off.

Re: Have Anyone Taken the Skin Off?
If its buckets, you should be able to get both seats off in under an hour, but its going to take 2 to 3 times as long to get them back on and the cushions fitted inside the covering. A real PITA job, cloth seats are a little easier then leather. Find a good detail shop that has an extracting machine and have them cleaned
