Re: hard water spots
First try white distilled vinegar.
It is the cheapest way out and no damage ![]() |

Re: hard water spots
for the windows, use a wheel acid or vingar and steel wool.it sounds a little scary but trust me it works.as for the rims just some mothers and a whole lot of elbow grease.

I'm a diehard Duragloss fan and let me tell you their 755 Nu-Glass is the best thing to get waterspots off of your glass. Let me warn you though it will take some elbow grease depending on how bad they are. After you've removed this put some rain-X on and your good to go. Man that stuff works great! I never use my windshield wipers, no more wiper marks on MY winshield!

Re: hard water spots
use windex on the windows and when i get spots on my wheels, i re-wash them and dry them off good and clean before the water has time to spot

Re: hard water spots
i have bought that mr clean no spot stuff and it works real well i know that if wasnt what you were asking, but i thought i would share. it was like 30 bucks and you dont have to dry at all, and it leaves no spots at all. only catch is that you have to wash the truck in the shade.
