If you use a Hairdryer or something to heat the emblems and the area, a lot of that gunk will come off with the emblem.. Also I have used this stuff called goo gone.. it is pretty good stuff for removing that gunk, whn I pulled my pinstriping off that was the first stuff I reached for. It is good at removing paint overspray too.

I used the goo gone and I cvan still see where my emblems once were, Any help in getting that off. Also, what is a good product to take my old wax off with. Looks likie the paint has faded around where my emblems used to be? Any suggestions?

Theres some stuff called BC-1 at Automagic.com that will strip the old wax off. As for the left over adhesive, diesel fuel will work, or a little WD40.

I used GS-27. That's the stuff that used to be on TV and will get off gunk, paint stratches, markers, whatever. It really does work. When I got in a wreck once there was red paint all over my bumper on my white car and I used GS-27 and all the paint was gone. It didn't even look like I got hit!
I've heard many people use the hairdryer and then the paint would be dull and they'd have to wax it a bunch. GS-27 dosen't fade it. Just .02
