Grill Polishing?
Got a used grill, it's the 91-93 style, chrome with billet inserts. Needs to be polished/cleaned and I was wondering what I should use to clean it? I don't want to use something and it messes it up. Would regular chrome polish work or is that just for metals? Glass cleaner?

Re: Grill Polishing?
FINE grade steel wool plus glass cleaner on the chrome, and aluminum polish on the inserts... if they're polished.

Re: Grill Polishing?
I used Meguiar's PlastX polish and it shined it up pretty good. It didn't take off some of the blemishes like I had hoped, but I don't think any product will. The visible parts of the grill are good, except for the outer ends where the billiet inserts are, looks like maybe oxidation has corroded the finish as it dripped down. And the part of the grill that sits behind the bumper is 'cloudy' looking, and won't shine, but since it's not really visible I'm not too worried about it
