Re: Good car wash?
i know the auto dry rocks but im just looking for car wash, i can dry it pretty good with very minimal water spots. so thats not the prob.
Meguairs NXT car wash is a good over the counter wash, im assuming the counter wash is where you just hose the truck off with water so it gets all the loose crap off. so the meguires stuff works good, about how much is it a bottle? |

Re: Good car wash?
What I ment is, its a good car wash you can buy at a local store instead of a mail order only product.
I think its 6.99 for a gallon |

Re: Good car wash?
dish soap = no wax. it'll take the wax right off yer paint! meguires (sp?) has always had great stuff. there's nothin' like rinsing it off after washing and seeing the tiny little bubbles in the water. works great!

Best car wash stuff right there. This stuff owns Mother products. I've seen it and experienced it first hand so I know the shit works. |

Re: Good car wash?
what makes that stuff so much better? I dont understand.........I know that some aren't as good as other's but a car can only be so clean. What does 23$ a gallon get you? Unless its super super concentrated..

Re: Good car wash?
The more expensive soaps have more slickness to them, and they also produce more suds, which is what you want when you're washing. That way the wash mitt glides across the surface as smoothly as possibl, reducing the amount of spider webbing and marring in the clear coat. I use P&S Wash N Wax on most of my customers cars when they're not too dirty, or Megs Gold Class when I'm out of the other stuff, and Megs NXT when they get really dirty, like right now. NXT works great during the winter if you have a lot of road grime on your car

Re: Good car wash?
Also many of the car wash soaps have silicone and other crap in there that basically helps you wax, I've found if I wax my car and wash it at least every 2 weeks in afew months it still feels pretty freshly waxed
I have used both Eagel one and Meguiars, both are amazing, but i couldnt pick one or the other |
