Getting the Glue off after trim removal??
Ok I'm in the process of pulling the black trim off, but its got this glue/tape leftover. Whats the best way to remove this crap??

well when i took all my trim off the sides of my truck the black sticky ruber stuff just peeled off

I use WD-40 to remove all the residue from stuff I peel off... Cheaper and theres always a can laying around the house..

im kinda partial to whirlpool range cleaner, that shit would eat chrome if you let it sit long enough lol, i dunno my roomate works at whirlpool so we can always get it. works for me.

take ur thumb and rub it off like your rollin it off it should come off while drinkin a beer and usin some elbow grease especially newer glue

actually a remove wheel (rubber wheel ) on a pneumatic drill is what i use at work is the fastest but you probably wont wanna spend 25 bucks on the wheel

I used goo gone, and I think it's your best alternative because its not harsh and abrasive like some other methods people have mentioned. I believe goo gone is possibley citris based, but someone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Save your paint and get goo gone!

Sounds like I'm going to be looking for Goo Gone when I peel my emblems off. And if I tried using Whirlpool range cleaner, it sounds like I'd finally get to repaint my truck.

RUBBER WHEEL.. it also takes of graphics, stickers, and two way tape.
