Re: Gettin spray paint off a rim
Some decent cleaner wax and good old fashioned elbow grease will take that right off. Welcome to the forum where people can never stay on topic. Who gives a fock how/why it got there...

Re: Gettin spray paint off a rim
If it was pretty light I was going to say use a dish rag with dawn or something like that and then use claybar/wax. Last edited by ZQ8 Blazer : 02-18-2009 at 04:38 AM. |

Re: Gettin spray paint off a rim
If it comes off that easy then it shouldn't be too hard to get off.

Re: Gettin spray paint off a rim
if there is no real finish lacquer thinner will remove it in no time. Grease and wax remover might even take it off.

Re: Gettin spray paint off a rim
paint thinner, it wont cut the lacquer finish of the wheel, but the paint is rather cheap so should break down from it

Re: Gettin spray paint off a rim
another thing you could have done is got a very small amount of brake fluid and put it on the paint then wipe the hell outta it, but make sure you do it quick and wash them off good or the rim will be dull from the fluid eating away at the clear that is on the rim
