Flitz ball

Ya all seen that ad on TV for Flitz polish and the goofy looking polish ball..Well I bit
and got it for 19.95 + sh. When it comes to polishing, washing or waxing the easiest
way is the best way for me. I'm lazy as hell. So I bought this and tried it on my ole
ARTTII's. As you can see from the pics this worked out pretty good. I used Fantasic
household cleaner to clean the wheel, then rubbed some of the Flitz with a lil Blue
Magic mixed in on the wheel for maybe 5 minutes, then hooked this ball gizmo up
to my drill, popped a Bud and just stood there moving the drill around for maybe 20
minutes. Here's how the rear came out. The 1st pic is my rear wheel, the 2nd is
the dirty front one..For just standing there moving a drill around a lil, not too bad.
What do ya think ?

Re: Flitz ball

Doesn't look to bad in the pic. I bought one too, but I am a little hesitant in using it on my INTRO's. Did you notice any kind of fine scratches or anything else from using the Flitz ball?

Well no, not fine scratches. Now these wheels have been on my ole ride since 98 and have
seen a lot of road wear, non caring tire installers, and a bit of off-road. So with that in mind.
you would expect some wear..Ya know if ya wanted to try it out on your wheels, why not
not pull clean the back side real good and try this ball with some Flitz on a spot and see
how it turns out. Sure, it won't be the same as the nice finish on the front side, but at least
you'd get an idea..I hate to admit it, but I'm going to use this ball as long as it lasts.

Once you wash it the fibers on the ball with get soft. I think the mix of the Blue Magic
and the Flitz worked out pretty good considering, but the Flitz put one hell of a shine
on one of my polished Colt 45 Government Model slides. It's so shiny now, the slide
has a sorta deep blue shine to when the light hits it just right. I showed it to my dog,
who saw his reflection and he started barking..Pretty funny.
