Faded dash
I have a 99 S10 that needs to be kept outside. The dashboard is becoming discolored and faded. I have always heard that Armor All can cause cracking. Any suggestions on what I should use to care for it?

Re: Faded dash
x2 when i go to work that is what i put on my front windshield. keeps it cooler inside and prevents the dash from fading.
on the armor all, i have used it for years and love it. i do apply it on once a week though, i like to keep things clean. |

Re: Faded dash
oddly enough my dash hasn't faded that much and there is no peeling. And I've never had a window cover on my truck and I've had it for over 12yrs now. I guess armor all really does work because that's all I've ever used on my dash.

Re: Faded dash
There ARE places that can, and WILL repair, and refinsih your damaged dash! There's usually somebody locally who does this where ever you live. If you can't find one, then stop by a GOOD used car lot, and ask them who THEY us to repair all their trade-ins. they usually have someone they call, or "go to" for all the interior restorations.
