Re: Engine Pics
Orange Blast by Grease Lightning. If you have heavy deposits..start with GUNK Heavy Duty Engine Brite.
A few types of scrub brushes. Follow up with Armor All Tire Foam. ![]() |

Re: Engine Pics
I have 2 pics one you can see the electric fan in and the other you can see the high power alternator. These pictures aren't after cleaning they are after install the parts, but still show worthy.

Re: Engine Pics
Yeah, the manuel only calls it the 2200 Vortec, then the 4300 vortec, and I think the v8 is the 5400 vortec. Pretty simple, just take what ever liter it is, take the decimal out, add 00 to it. Then there's the 2200 Ecotech.
I use vinyl/tire/plastic armor all on my engine bay, looks very clean, but not all shiney/greesed looking like some of the ones here, but how do you gys clean the top cloth? Attatched to the bottom side of the hood. when I bought my truck I was surprised out how clean it was under the hood, seeing the outside paint was beat to hell, and the seats were full of cigerette burns, all I did to keep it clean months later is just sprayed it with armor all then took a dry cloth and started wiping the armor all off.http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...geQuality=Full This is a pic of when I first bought it, pretty clean, don't mind the wording, this was a pic I sent to my brother to show him my new truck. And YEAH, compared to my '85 Astro van this 2.2L can get up and go. Last edited by TokoDragon : 06-17-2006 at 03:20 AM. |
