Easiest way to remove stickers and emblems?
title says it all. I want to take some emblems off that the previous owner had put on. To be exact it is on the back window. It is one of those <>< fish emblems. Pretty small, maybe 2-3 inches wide. Just want to know the best way to get it, and the residue off. thanks

for stickers and decals and stuff, if it is just on a window i just spray it with windex and scrape it off with a razor blade. wouldn't do that if it is on paint though...

Re: Easiest way to remove stickers and emblems?
on the windows, just as bristol16 said, take them off with a razor blade. If they are decals on the paint, then they should peel off, but leave a residue behind...you can get that off with Goo-Gone or something along those lines. As far as emblems are concerned, use a hairdryer, heat up the emblem, slide fishing line behind the emblem, and you can take them off. Again, use some Goo-Gone to take off the residue, and you can use a plastic razor blade too if needed. You might need to hit the area behind badges and stickers with some rubbing compound if they have been on there for a long time...this will make sure you don't see where the badges/stickers once were.

Can you remove the side striping on the s-10. It's the strip that runs from front to back right under the windows.
