Re: Dumb Girl!!! Part 2
If you mean paint burn/fading, You should get some deep cutting polish and buff the entire deck lid, use the 2 stage cream/polish that will cut the fading out and remove the oxidation buildup, your only other choic would be wetsanding and re-shooting the item

Re: Dumb Girl!!! Part 2
Gasoline or Ronsonol lighter fluid. Use sparingly, and get it the hell off of your paint quickly. Don't smoke while doing this either.
You just need to get it worked into the gooey part between the paint and the magnet. Maybe use a soft plastic puddy knife to pry the thing off as you go. Just make sure whatever you use is softer than the paint so you don't scratch it. |

Re: Dumb Girl!!! Part 2
Tell your girlfriend magnets are for refrigerators.
And a plastic putty knife and some heat should be ok, clean up with some Oops and a wax (if it's worth it). |

Its really not worth thats why I let it sit there lol the paint is pretty new too prob only 3 years or so. Thats why i dont let her in my truck and if she has too I open and close the door cuz I dont want her Fing up my hinges! BUt bad to it I think I will try the heat and see how it goes thanks again |

Re: Dumb Girl!!! Part 2
you could try using a clay bar. not sure how effective that would be. definitely wouldn't harm the paint though. worth a try in my opinion.
