drying out carpet

well i took the carpet out of my dime to apply my sound deadner.. well when i took it up my passenger side was standing with water.. where in the hell is the water come from do you think and how do i go about fixing the problem.. also how do i dry the carpet and will it be alright to use again cuz i don't want to pay a buck twenty for some new replacement

Mine has like the same thing... i think atleast mine is commin from the antenna wire comin through the firewall, the moron who owned the truck before me put his amp wire through there and i think its leaking. i just took a hair dryer to mine and it seems fine.
