Dog hair removal!
I just got my jimmy, and the guy that had it before me had dogs, and the cargo area is FULL of hair.
I spent literally 5 hrs vacuuming the whole truck, and got from the back seats forward cleaned. Now the cargo area is where the dogs were mainly kept, and its the worst. I cannot get all of the hair out. I have tried vacuums, both suction and roller type. Dog hair/lint roller, brushes, and a rubber static brush (Petsmart said would work) I dont know what else to do, or try. Any good tips??? Thanks |

I will see if I can get a hold of a steam cleaner, and hopefully it helps! |

Re: Dog hair removal!
there is no getting dog hair out...that's just a fact.
if you want to give it a whirl, use water. Water can catch the hair and u may be somewhat ok. |

Re: Dog hair removal!
You can do what Jeep Wrangler people do, remove the carpeting and spray in a bedliner like Rihno or Line-X in place of carpet, then just hose it down. For the seats, get a seat cover when the dog's in there and then you can shake it out and machine wash. This is one think I like about the Honda Element and may replace our S-10 with that, no carpet and neoprene seats.

Re: Dog hair removal!
I'd try a steam cleaner, and if that doesn't work, try renting one of those carpet cleaners. Dog hair isn't impossible to remove, but it can be a pain in the ass

Re: Dog hair removal!
Get a lint brush. Basically tape on a brush used for like clothing etc. Run it all over the carpet and wah lah!
