Does wax have a shelf life?

I am unsure if some of the wax I have is still good or not. The bottles are at least 2 years old. One is the Maguires NXT wax and the other is the gold class. They seem to be more runny than a new bottle.

I beleive when wax and polish get old they turn yellow and chalky, at least mine did.
